Cognitive Modeling
The Department of Cognitive Modeling focuses on the following research areas:
- • Dynamical systems
- • Brain networks
- • Brain Signals processing
- • Eye-tracking
- • Neuro-stereology
- • Statistical Developments and implementations
Main Missions of the department are as follows:
- 1. Detecting and modeling specialized cognitive functions like memory, attention, decision making, judgement, and languages in human and animals in accordance with the machine;
- 2. Contributing in preparing the map of cognitive performance through mathematical modeling;
- 3. Training PhD students in cognitive modeling;
- 4. Establishing the Laboratory of Brain Signals and Images Analysis and the Laboratory of Computational Neuro-stereology;
- 5. Collaborating with highly professional national and international centers and institutions involved in cognitive modeling.
