Cognitive Modeling
The Department of Cognitive Modeling focuses on the following research areas:
- Dynamical systems
- Brain networks
- Brain Signals processing
- Eye-tracking
- Neuro-stereology
- Statistical Developments and implementations
Main Missions of the department are as follows:
1. Detecting and modeling specialized cognitive functions like memory, attention, decision making, judgement, and languages in human and animals in accordance with the machine;
2. Contributing in preparing the map of cognitive performance through mathematical modeling;
3. Training PhD students in cognitive modeling;
4. Establishing the Laboratory of Brain Signals and Images Analysis and the Laboratory of Computational Neuro-stereology;
5. Collaborating with highly professional national and international centers and institutions involved in cognitive modeling.
